Unfortunately, I've been slacking on the blog, caught up with life too much to document its impact, I guess. I had a wonderful turkey day story and a great non-shopping black friday experience that I will soon share once I can sit myself down and focus. I start many posts but never have the continuance to finish them.

Sunday was my day to catch up, however I was on the road dropping my bro off in KZoo; through rain, sleet and snow, mind you. So when I got home, my mind (and body) was worn.

Hope everyone's Thanksgiving went well. Back to the "grind!"

God Bless.

Oh, and I didn't forget about my continuation of "the rules". Won't that be fun to share (sarcasm).

In the last three weeks a lot has transpired. The lovable Lions are doing what they do best. There was a debate that debuted Joe the Dumb...I mean Plumber into the campaign, more Palin SNL fun, Colin Powell backs up Barack followed up by the awe-inspiring "Obamercial" that aired last night. I even heard that there is talk that the Republican Party is in danger of implosion, then reform (things that make you go "Hmmmmm..."). Oh and the Pistons are back, too!

*GOING TO WORK!*

Yeah, It's been a minute. Over the past two weekends I've been working. And that isn't even my second job (which I have yet to find). Ok, I admit I did party last weekend, but only one night though. The HMD's will not be denied. And I did a little "micro-blogging" during the PRSA National Conference, what an experience that was. And then there was Fable 2 for Xbox 360, which I handily finshed. So many distractions, so little time.

So, if you have been looking for a new post then it looks like I dropped the ball. Or, maybe I just did the unexpected; broke from the norm. Wouldn't that make me a Maverick!?

Yeah, that's it. I didn't post in the last three weeks because I don't have to. I can break from convention and do what I want. Yeah, No. Honestly I'll get back on the horse, as soon as I find my cowboy hat.

See you next week, for a special Post-Election Post. Or so you think...

It's another September Sunday afternoon in the Motor City and you know what that means...Detroit Lions football. Yes, it's time for us hapless homers to turn on the television and watch those delightful Detroit cats compete against a real football team, hoping to the heavens for a win. But wait, these are the Lions, even if they are on top they can, and will, find a way to lose. Trust me.

So those hopes immediately turn into horror, or disinterest as you simulate your own Lions match-up, Madden style. Or, if you are so fortunate (or unfortunate) to have a significant other in your midst, you succumb to her advances and she wins the war of the remote. I'm not too proficient at Madden (I'm one of those RPG/Adventure gamers) and I don't have a woman, so how do I compensate for the lack of bragging rights in the "black and blue division"?

Fantasy Football!

I am new to the phenomenon, myself. But I have already caught the fever. My team roster inlcudes a few of my favorites. So let's see what happens week 2.

Go Lions! Maybe...not!
